After the Fire Has Gone

Let us learn from our mistakes,
history will not repeat again,
fade not memories,
of children, women and men.

And shall we not forget,
all those who fought so brave,
to save this vast land,
from an inferno ill behaved.

This day of remembrance,
from the beginning of the dawn,
will lament the loss of life,
after the fire has gone.
